Celebrating Cassowary Corridor Connectivity
Time & Location
About The Event
Lot 66 is an integral section of Garrett Corridor, linking the forests in Djiru National Park with the wetlands and littoral forest of Wongaling Creek. Revegetation of the cleared areas on this block provides increased habitat and better access to seasonal food supplies for cassowaries and other forest wildlife in the Mission Beach area.
Join the Community for Coastal and Cassowary Conservation (C4) in Mission Beach for some weeding and treeplanting, followed by a guided walk to see areas revegetated over the last few years.
