About The Event

Treeforce is a not-for-profit community tree planting group in Cairns who have been planting up riparian rainforest for over 25 years! They are organising a clean up of one of their planting sites on the beautiful Freshwater Creek (which has sadly been used as an illegal dumping ground) to be followed by their Annual General Meeting (AGM). Join TreeForce to clean it up before all the rubbish flows out to the Great Barrier Reef in the first rains of the wet season. Bring sun smart gear, gloves, covered shoes & water.

When: Sunday 16th September, 7am clean up, followed by 8.30am AGM

Where: Lower Freshwater Bridge - Lower Freshwater Rd runs between the Freshwater Railway Station and Peace Lutheran School
